CONFEDERATE MEMORIAL AT ARLINGTON...
If there were no black Confederates as the revisionists claim, why did the UDC erect a Confederate monument at Arlington National Cemetery with a black man among the white soldiers less than 50 years after the wars end?
Chosen to design the memorial was the world-renowned sculptor, Moses Ezekiel a Jewish Southerner and former Confederate soldier.
Inscription. Panel 1: "Not for fame or reward, not for place or for rank; not lured by ambition or goaded by necessity; but in simple obedience to duty as they understood it; these men suffered all, sacrificed all, dared all, and died."
Panel 2: To our dead heroes, by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Victrix causa diis placuit sed victa catoni. 1861-1865. "The Victorious Cause was Pleasing to the Gods, But the Lost Cause to Cato."
"They shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks."
Erected 1914 by United Daughters of the Confederacy.

There were four flags that were flown at different times by the Southern Confederacy, combined they flew over slave territory for a total of less than four years. (The Bonny Blue was never a national flag of the Confederacy).
The stars and stripes however, were flown over slave territory for eighty-eight years from 1777 to 1865. For a portion of those 88 years the stars and stripes were flown over Northern slave ships, bringing slaves from Africa to America and other destinations.
No Confederate flag ever flew over a slave ship…and the international slave trade was outlawed in the Confederate Constitution.
If these flags are symbols of racism, what about yours…

NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE...
"It was necessary to put the South at a moral disadvantage by transforming the contest from a war waged against States fighting for their independence, (which it was), into a war against States fighting for the maintenance and extension of slavery, by making some move for emancipation (as cynical as it was) as the real motive of the Struggle"…Woodrow Wilson
The shrewd politician’s disingenuous sham of emancipation is what kept England and France out of the war and the South from winning its independence. The freeing of Slaves was just a pretense and deception.
“Negro men, who had wandered a while looking for an invisible freedom, came back and went to work on the farm from force of habit. They now received wages and bought their own food. That was the only apparent difference that freedom had brought them.” Walter Hines Page from Reminiscences of his boyhood during the WBTS.
“The war abolished slavery and with the exception of a few Negroes who found that freedom brought them cares and hardships such as they had not known in slavery, I never heard a Southerner say he regretted it.” Robert Catlett Cave
Even after the war, while 25 Million European Immigrants migrated to the Northern States from 1865 to 1915 - the Migration of blacks to Northern States was absolutely minimal as the Percentage of Blacks to White from 1860 to 1910 Census figures in the North - remains almost unchanged. It's obvious that Northern Citizens may have advocated freeing the slaves; however there would be almost zero migration of blacks to the north for almost fifty years after the war. These numbers make the “War was fought to Free Slaves” argument a Joke. Bobby Edwards

“To treat, as Lincoln did, the peoples of entire states who had engaged in deliberate and legal acts of self-government as common criminals and as “domestic foes” aroused deep emotions of resentment and injustice that could be felt only by an American who had received with his mother’s milk the principle, framed in the Declaration of Independence, of the self-government of independent moral and political societies.
As the case of Robert E. Lee makes clear, this feeling of resentment had nothing to do with slavery, an institution he thought was on its way to oblivion. It was this deeply felt American resentment that enabled the entire South, 85 percent of whom did not own slaves, to mobilize and to make spectacular sacrifices to keep out an invading army, the government of which was intent on destroying, and did destroy, the corporate liberty of their political societies.
It was this sense of state honor that Hamilton had in mind when he said in the Federalist that THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT COULD NEVER MAKE WAR ON AN AMERICAN STATE, and which he again asserted before the New York State convention:
“To coerce a state would be one of the maddest projects ever devised. No state would ever suffer itself to be used as the instrument of coercing another.” One cannot imagine the great Virginians of his time disagreeing.” Donald Livingston

The Federal invasion of the Southern States was a four year war which wreaked incredible havoc and destruction followed by and equally destructive 12 year reconstruction period to further loot the South.
The Russian invasion of Chechenya is widely regarded as barbarous, but the Russians have a better title to rule Chechenya than the North had to coerce eleven contiguous American states into the Union. England actually owned the 13 colonies giving it better title to rule them. The South was made up of independent and sovereign states...
The government genocide perpetrated against the Southern civilian population prior to changing it’s focus to the Native Americans, was mass murder deliberately planned and carried out by individuals, all of whom are responsible whether they made the plan, gave the order or carried out the killings. This would include Lincoln, Grant, Sherman, Sheridan, Hunter, Turchin and Butler to name a few…How anyone can make heroes of the perpetrators of such heinous acts is beyond (Southern) comprehension…

In 1968 the Soviet Union invaded Czechoslovakia to prohibit voting on reforms. The soviet premier used the same rationale as our 16th president did in Maryland, as authority for his actions, the “security of the government.”
In 1861 Lincoln ordered the arrest of the duly elected members of the Maryland legislature and Congressman Henry May as well as the Mayor and police chief of Baltimore. He was able to do so because of his suspension of the habeas corpus writ in the state.
Twelve members of the General Assembly were arrested and held in Baltimore City. In Frederick, a Wisconsin regiment of the U.S. Army arrested additional members of the General Assembly “believed to be” disloyal to the Union.
The legislators were taken by train to Annapolis where they boarded a steamboat that transported them to a prison at Fort Lafayette in the New York harbor.
The first actual bloodshed of the war took place in Baltimore when citizens tried to block passage of a Massachusetts Regiment form moving through town on the way to Washington; (April 19th 1861) 4 soldiers and 12 citizens were killed, dozens injured.
